Users

The Users page lists everyone AuthCop can check at sign-in. Most users are students.

Where users come from​

You don't create users in AuthCop. They are copied from Microsoft Entra through SCIM. Extra school details, such as house and year level, come from your import.

  • A synced icon next to a user means they came from Microsoft Entra.
  • A Student badge means the user is in at least one Student Group.

To add, rename or remove a user, make the change in Microsoft Entra. It will reach AuthCop at the next sync.

Finding a user​

  • Search: type part of a name, username or email address into the search box.
  • Filter: use the House, Home Group, Campus and Year Level filters in the column headings. Select Clear Filters to remove them.
  • The list shows 25 users per page. Use the page buttons at the bottom to see more.

What the columns mean​

ColumnMeaning
NameThe user's first name and surname.
User Principal NameThe username they sign in to Microsoft with.
Email AddressTheir school email address.
House, Home Group, Campus, Year LevelSchool details from your import. A dash (—) means none is set.

Opening a user​

Select a user to open their details. From there you can see their groups, sign-in methods and recent sign-ins. See User details.
