Signing in to the admin portal
You sign in to the admin portal with your school Microsoft account.

To sign in
- Go to the admin portal address your school was given.
- Check the region at the top of the form. Choose the region your school's AuthCop data is kept in (for example Australia).
- Type your school email address and select Sign in.
- Sign in with your Microsoft account when asked.
Next time, the portal remembers your email address. Select it to sign in again quickly.
How the portal knows which school you belong to
AuthCop uses the part of your email address after the @ (the domain) to find your school. Your school's domains are listed on the Domain Names page, and only verified domains work.
Who can sign in
Only staff who have been added as administrators can sign in. Administrators are synced from Microsoft Entra using SCIM. What you can do once signed in depends on your permissions.
If you can't sign in
| Problem | What to try |
|---|---|
| "Tenant not found for domain" | Your email domain isn't set up and verified in AuthCop. Ask a Global Administrator to add and verify it on the Domain Names page. |
| You get to Microsoft but can't get back in | You may not have been synced as an administrator yet. Ask your Entra administrator to check the AuthCop admin SCIM provisioning. |
| Nobody at the school can sign in | The admin portal's certificate may have been regenerated but not uploaded to Microsoft Entra. See Entra Configuration. |
| You can sign in but a page is missing | You don't have the permission for that page. See Admin permissions. |
